Chris Evans

Director, Finance & Business Development

Mr. Evans joined the EagleClaw team in July 2015. His primary responsibilities include economic analysis and strategic review of business development opportunities including acquisitions and greenfield developments, contract review and negotiation, detailed financial modeling, due diligence for financial and strategic transactions, industry research and trends, and financial management.

Prior to joining the EagleClaw team, Mr. Evans worked as an Associate in the Energy Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities, where he was involved in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets financings and strategic advisory assignments for clients across the upstream oil and gas, midstream and oilfield services sectors. His responsibilities as both an associate and analyst included constructing detailed free cash flow, merger, IPO and LBO models to evaluate credit statistics, equity returns and other valuation analysis across a variety of capital structures and entry/exit multiple scenarios. Additionally, he evaluated oil and gas industry trends, as well as performed comparable company and comparable transaction analysis. During his five years with Wells Fargo Securities, Mr. Evans worked on over $23.5 billion of closed capital raises and more than $2.1 billion of closed M&A transactions.

Mr. Evans holds a B.B.A. in finance and a minor in accounting graduating with honors from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
